PayPal Buttons and CSS Form Builder 2

How can I add a PayPal "BuyNow" button to a CSS Form? Can the PayPal Form Tags be inserted inside the CSS Form Tags? When I try to do this the design view of the CSS Form losses it's Form Builder functionality. Any tutorials on Nesting Forms will be helpful.

Thanks
PK

You would probably have to add both forms to the page separately, then move the form elements from the buynow button into the other form and replace the form action from the formbuilder form with the buynow button action.

An important question I'd like to ask is: what are you trying to accomplish by doing this? I can't think of many good reasons to want to do something like this, so if you could explain a little more about what you are trying to accomplish I might be able to steer you in the right direction.

PayPal button in CSS Form

Hi Ray,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I will give it a try.

My reason for needing this functionality is that I have a website which allows clients the opportunity to complete a "Request for Services" form then Submit it for processing. However, they must choose to either establish an open account with my company or prepay for the service using PayPay or Credit Card. If they have an account they just enter their account number in the CSS Form and press Submit. If they do not have an account they must choose to PayPal options then return to the CSS Form and complete the Submit process.

If their is a better way to facilitate this process, please let me know. My goal is to make the process as user friendly as possible.

Thanks Again
PK

The problem is that paypal buy now buttons submit directly to paypal and ignore any form fields that don't relate to what is directly supported in their api. Which means your extra form elements will just be ignored and you won't be able to do anything with them anyway.

So adding the buy now button to an existing form won't really do much good if your goal is to somehow capture the form element values when the buy now button is pressed.

You would probably have to use something like eCart and express checkout to be able to capture form element values and send someone to paypal at the same time. A buy now button just doesn't support that type of combined form.
