PS4 Checkout Page Error

when i go to check out I get this error as I use local remote not a payment service
checkout_failure.php?shipping=fail&country=false

This is because you don't have any shipping rules set up for the country you are checking out from.

You can either use one of the shipping providers or set up a custom rule to give free shipping to that country, but that error is basically saying that shipping is not available for that region.

Just go to the admin settings and set up a shipping rule for Canada and it should fix that problem (even if you just set it to free).

checkout_success.php with error as follows
The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.



This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

This usually happens when you have a page that redirects to another page that redirects back to itself, or a page that always redirects back to itself recursively.

I think this may have been a bug we fixed related to https servers. Try using the new version of that page I've attached to this thread.

Thank you. That worked. However,
1. Did not come through as an order via email
2. No credit card payment information was available
Any feedback as to fixing this....

1) if you are running on localhost you probably don't have an SMTP server configured. It will probably send the email properly from your live server.

2) Did you have your site in Test Mode? It wouldn't take you to the success page if no payment was made. Do you see the order in the orders section of your admin? What do you mean by no credit card payment information was available?

The order came through in the admin, but the opportunity to enter payment did not come up so therefore there was no information provided for the credit card

Yes... you have 'none' selected as your payment gateway.

The powerstore is not designed for offline processing. It doesn't store credit card numbers, so there is no reason to ask for one if you don't have a payment gateway defined.

You'll need to manually update the checkout process to do what you want. I'd suggest minimally using the latest version of security assist to encrypt the CC number with RIJNDAEL encryption. It can be unencrypted for processing but is nearly impossible to decrypt without the encryption string which you can store outside of your database.

I'd also make sure to delete it entirely after processing to be extra safe.
