server behavior?

Hello,
I am building an webshop with the DA wizard but it's noting than trouble, creating the insert update delete and results pages. After testing a page the insert and update server behaviors are gone so its impossible to correct them.

Why?

Still the same problem!

After deleting DW and the extension manager, i reinstalled DW and the extensions DataAssist, Digital File Pro and HTML editor. It worked perfect yesterday.

I used the DAwizzard to create an insert, update, delete and results page after a few time's it worked but after manual correcting the datatyping en the redirect pages.

But this morning I want to finish, the insert and update server behaviours are gone! How is that possible? I can't work with it on this way

DW 5
Mac osx 10.6.7

you say you are manually editing the code, what code are you changing and what are you changing it to?

most likely, manually editing the code is causing it not to be recognized by the Dreamweaver translator.

Hello,

I only corrected the redirect path I put two // for the if statement, because the redirect gives the full path to the next page and I only need the path to the file.

yes, buy commenting out that line, the Dreamweaver translator no longer recognizes that code block as a data assist code block.

there is a fix for the redirect path problem in the known issues section of the data assist support page.

Ok thanks!

When I delete this line it works the insert Record is back

//if (function_exists("rel2abs")) $WA_redirectURL = $WA_redirectURL?rel2abs($WA_redirectURL,dirname(__FILE__)):"";

Sorry, meant to type "Known issues section of the Data Assist Download Center page"

it's in the download center not the support page.
