Redirect to existing page if it exist

On many of my sites that I have secured pages on the security assist checkbox is checked to redirect to an existing page if it exists, yet it continues to direct to the member profile page regardless. I have attached one example. I also have been waiting for 3 days for a response on an open ticket.

for the redirect to previous url option to work, the forms action on the login page must pass any querystring variables that are passed in on page load.

set the login forms action to use the following code:

php:
<?php echo htmlentities($_SERVER["PHP_SELF"]); ?><?php echo (isset($_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"]) && $_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"] != "")?"?".htmlentities($_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"]):""?>

we are short handed in the support department this week due to an emergency, we will get to your ticket ASAP.

Log In Redirect to requested page

I must need to change something else. I am still getting redirected to the member profile which is what is designated in the log in and when a person simply clicks on log in that is fine, but when they request a page we want them to go to that page. Thank You!
