License Question

So you can only install on one site?

So I have to purchase a license just to practice with, One for a demo and one for the client?

you can only install on one live site.

you can install on a second site as long as it is only for testing.

Thanks Jason,

So can you have two stores on one domain then?

Example, I want to have a demo site set up so I can demo it, but would also like to be able to have a non-public site I can experiment on and not worry about messing things up as I learn?

Neither being an actual commercial store ... just a demo and a practice one.

the license allows you to install on two domains, one for testing, another for the actual live store.

if you install two testing stores on the same domain:
one at:
pstest1

the other at:
pstest2

both would be considered the same domain, this would not be an issue.

Awesome, thats perfectly acceptable then.

Now, a few more questions before I make a purchase:

1: Can multiple check out options be set? Say Paypal and None at the same time?

2: Can a single product with different options have different prices? Example; Pet Rock comes in three sizes ... can that single product have three different prices or does the product have to be entered in as three different items?

3: Can the Admin area be:
a) rebranded?
b) re-skinned to match website?
c) have specific sections hidden from being able to change such as the design stuff? Different Admin Levels?
d) more admin features/links added for custom features I may want to add with DataAssist such as maybe sports team rosters for example

4: How customizable are the templates? Example I want to add a new page, custom team roster or maybe a blog in addition to the store ....

5: Can the PowerStore be further customized if I already own your products such as eCart5 and Framework Builder?

6: Can common login be used for entire site? Example if I wanted to use Power Messenger on the site as well?

Thanks

1) No PowerStore does not allow for multiple gateways

2) Yes, different product options can have different prices.

3a) yes the admin can be re branded.

3b) you can re skin the templates by editing the css maually.

3c) There is the Supper Admin User, ,and a standard admin user. the admin user cannot get to the design editor or settings section of the admin, only the supper admin can get to those.

a standard admin also cannot add new content areas to the content management, only edit existing content.

4) as long as you dont remove or rename any of the editable regions, you can customize the templates any way you like.

5) PowerStore is sold as a pre built application with the pre built feature set. It _can_ be modified with the other tools of supper suite, but we cannot offer support for this.

6) No, a conmon login is not supported through the solution packs.
