Page Testing

I've just run through creating a simple Static Add To Cart Button. When I preview the page in a browser & try to click on the button nothing happens, I am not taken to a checkout page...How can I locally test pages?

when testing locally, should I be able to approximate the checkout process?

the details in your initial question are rather sparse.

Did you set the add to cart behavior to redirect to another page after adding the item?

can you send a copy of your page so I can look at the code.
