Curious about users' css workflow using Framework Builder
I'm really liking this extension - used it to build site templates for two separate projects this past month and I think I'm sold on the speed and flexibility it enables.
What I am curious about is other user's css workflow when building the separate php plug-in pages. Inside each plug-in page I've been linking a dedicated style sheet - header has it own, footer has its own, modules, widgets, so on and so forth. Then inside my main page that's populated with plug-ins, I'll have my reset, master, and any IE conditional style sheets.
I'm wondering if there's any benefit to consolidating my separate plug-in related style sheets into the master.css file. I haven't run into any cascading or specificity issues the way I've been doing it. And while using CS5.5, all related files are showing up when I'm in the main page so I have easy access to edit any plug-in or its specific style sheet. I was working in CS5 earlier today and I swore they weren't all showing up the same way.
Anyway, just curious.
