a 500 error message is very vague.

try adding the following code to line one of the problem page to turn on error reporting:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_All);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

once we know the actual error, we can begin debugging the cause.

Hi Jason I have just reset the password for the database and that seems to have fixed the problem, but I will alter the same page again to see if the problem re-occurs to see if it is a bug I will post back when I have done thanks Alistair
