International Shipping

International Shipping

On cart.php I would like to establish International Shipping

Do I have to have the customer manually enter the charges?

I have on the cart.php what Security Assist put down CHARGES

echo WA_eCart_DisplayMoney($californianatural, $californianatural->GetCharges());

Or does Webassist have a better solution to this?

Please advise. Cathy

Security Assist has nothing to do with shipping.

you define shipping rules in eCart by editing the eCart object.

when the checkout page posts to the confirm page, the customers shipping country is stored in a session variable named "eCartCheckoutForm_shipping_country"

you can use that session to trigger different shipping rules based on different shipping countries.

I also am now working on the shipping costs to other countries. I could've sworn I saw somewhere that you could link to an account with the shipping company so that I can have it automatically display the shipping cost. If that's true, can you guide me the right direction by sending me info on this?

Thank you.

In the eCart cehckout wizard, you can select to use on the shipping lookup providers.
