Filter results using a dropdown list

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest the best method for me to create a dropdown filter function on a datassist created results page. Basically I need to filter whether users are `withdrawn`, `active` or `both`, but need to retain the prior search query each time.

e.g.

1) Run a search for all users with the surname `jones`.
2) Results page brings back all jones's.
3) Use a list/menu to select only those jones's that are Withdrawn.
4) Use a list/menu to select only those jones's that are Active. etc...

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

David

the search is stored in a session, if the search page does not trigger a new search on the results page, then the original search is used.

add your form with the select list to the results page, then add a second Data Assist Search behavior to add the search for the new parameter.
