inch versus " for products

JBWebWorks

inch versus " for products

Shopping cart with sizePriceInc

have everything working to the confirm page and problem lies in taking the item name to PayPal.

If the item name has " in it for inch, PayPal drops the Name from the point of the ".

Example

Item is 1/4" Chuck Screw. PayPal displays the name as 1/4

If i change it in the database to 1/4inch then it displays properly in PayPal.

Isn't there a PHP code for htmlentities or html_entity_decode to get PayPal to recognize the " instead of having to change " to inch in all of my product names?

thanks for your help,
-Jim Balthrop

Never mind, i got it to work

I used htmlentities here

<input type="hidden" name="item_name_<?php echo $screenroom_Index+1; ?>" id="item_name_<?php echo $screenroom_Index+1; ?>" value="<?php echo htmlentities($screenroom->DisplayInfo("Name")) ?>" />
