Problems loading admin page and editing content

Since a couple of months a client is having problems with their PowerCMS site. The admin home page is suddently extremely slow to load. The client thinks this is due to the amount of content on the different pages available, which all shows up on the home page.

The change came quite suddenly, however, and there are also other issues, making me think there might be another problem behind it all. Until this happened, the admin page was fairly quick to load even though there was a lot of content to be displayed.
I am also unable to view image or table properties or insert new images when trying to edit an existing page, which was never a problem before. The last page I tried to edit was rekord.php - here I was unable to add the image I wanted.

The site in question is www.landosjon.se and the admin site is located on admin/

Please let me know if you need any login details - I don´t want to post them publicly here.

Thanks!
