Limit newsletters send

Hi.
Is there any way to limit the emails send per hour?
My hosting provider informed me that I cant send more than 300 emails per hour.
I have a list of more than 4000 emails ,so separating emails into smaller groups doesn't really help me.

Thank you

In the Admin -> Settings -> Email settings section, you can set the following parameters to limit the emails:

Max Emails - number of email that can be sent per unit of time

Emails Every - time in minutes within which the Max Emails can be sent

Seconds Between Emails- Time in seconds between each email being sent

So if I set
150 for 'Max emails'
60 for 'Emails every'
PM is going to send 150 emails/hour until it reaches the total amount of emails I have in the database?

Thank you

that means it will send a maximum of 150 email every hour until it reaches the end of the mailing list.

it does not necessarily mean that 150 will be sent every hour, only that a maximum of as 150 will be sent every hour. it could send less than 150 depending on server conditions, but it will not send more than 150.
