Does not redirect to the Login Page after Registering User

Does not redirect to the Login Page after Registering User

Unfortunately my issue is not closed.

It clears the error messages, which is good, and post the details to the database, however it does not redirect to the login page.

It just reloads the registration page,

To help you,

Please try and register here:

Registration.php

As it will register you, but you will not be redirected to login, which is not good

most likely a php error is occurring which is preventing the redirect to the login page.

add the following code to line one to turn on error reporting:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

I have identified another small issue.

I have added password encryption to my login registration an email PW pages.

The issue is that to add password encryption to my page, I need to apply data assist insert record behaviour to the page.

When I do this the check username stops working.

Hope you can help

I dont see the error reporting in your page any more, I really believe the redirect issue is tied to a php error, the only way to find the php error is to have the error reporting code in place.

make sure to add back the MM_insert hidden form element

<input type="hidden" name="MM_insert" value="WAATKRegistrationForm" />

Yep the password encryption works on the registration page now.

However the same issue has accrued again, where by the username message shows when it should not. (This started again now I changed the insert behaviour)

Currently I am using a show if rule to show the username message which I have realised is not reliable enough.

Could you please provide instructions on how to show a user name not available message using server validation? ( As I think this would be more reliable )

Thank you in advance.

1) Create a recordset that is set to filter the username column on the username form element.

2) Open the server behaviors panel and click the plus button, select WA Validation Toolkit -> Server Validations

3) Choose number validation

4) Enter "$totalRows_RecordsetName" (where RecordsetName is the name of the recordset created in step one), without the quotes, for the server variable, then click the plus button to add it.

5) In the number validation configuration screen, set the minimum to -1 and the maximum to 0.
