Shipping Calculations by Weight AND Volume

Hi everyone,
I have a client whose new website will stock items that are sold by weight (such as food items) and others that will be sold by Volume (such as drinks).

How can I incorporate these different measurements in the shipping costs in e-cart 5.03?

Thanks in advance,

Martin

you wont be able to use the Fewd Ex UPS or USPS shipping rate lookup behaviors for this, as they dont support both weight and volume.

you would need to create a cart column to mark each item as either solid or liquid, the using the shipping tab of the eCart object set up shipping riles to calculate the shipping using the Based on items with a specific column value option in the trigger and calculations. the specifics of how to set this up depend on how you want the shipping to be applied.
