Transactions not completing

Transactions are not able to be completed. I am receiving this message:

Transaction Not Completed
We're sorry

Your transaction could not be completed. Either your credit card information or billing address has problems and cannot be processed

Please return to checkout and try again, or contact us.

The payment gateway ran me through all of their checks and thought there might be a problem in the store set-up.

Thanks!

Questions from Authorize.net

I spoke with Authorize.net again and they had questions about the following on the Payement Gateway Settings page:

-What is the "transaction password?" (They are only dealing with transaction keys, they said)

-What is "Enable 3-D Secure?"

They thought I needed to get this info. from you before they could proceed further in helping me.

Thanks

the authorize.net settings require a Login and Transaction key.

the login is the value used for the x_login variable of the transaction. See the Authorize.net AIM developer page
AIM/

under Section Two - Submitting Transactions -> Minimum Requirements

3d secure is a service that offers an added layer of protection for credit card information:
3-D_Secure

to help determine why the transaction is failing, add the following code to the checkout_failure.php page:

php:
<?php

@session_start();
 echo
"<p>Auth Net: <br />"
     echo
"Full Request: ".(isset($_SESSION['WAAuthNet_postedValues'])?htmlentities($_SESSION['WAAuthNet_postedValues']):"n/a")."<br />"
     echo
"Full Response: ".(isset($_SESSION['WAAuthNet'])?htmlentities($_SESSION['WAAuthNet']):"n/a")."<br /></p>"
?>

Transaction Key/Transaction Password

The Authorize.net folks are wanting to know the difference between a "transaction key" and a "transaction password" on the Payment Gateway Settings. Are they two different things, and, if so, where is the "transaction password" generated from? They say that they do not provide that, so are wondering what it is.

The transaction password is only needed if you are using the 3D Secure Service.

All of the settings under the Enable 3D Secure checkbox pertain to the 3D Secure Service.

The only settings needed for authorize.net are the transaction key and login.

All other settings on that page are under the enable 3D Secure checkbox, so are provided by the 3D secure service and are not needed if the enable 3D secure checkbox is not checked.

Further Transaction Issues

Thanks for you help thus far. Authorize.net is now telling me that the error may be due to the fact that I have non-alpha numeric symbols in my product information, so their systems are not able to process the info. If this is the case, I know that I need to remove the colons, etc. from my product titles, etc. But, does this also apply to the product images that I have uploaded as well?

No, the product images are not transferred to the gateway.

More Transaction Errors

I am still receiving error messages that are preventing the transactions from completing. There is one error at the top that is as follows:

array(80) { ["WAVT_usersLogIn_Errors"]=> string(0) "" ["WAVT_ProductsResults_Errors"]=> string(0) "" ["WADbSearch1_Products_Cat"]=> int(11) ["WADbSearch1_Products_Results"]=> string(89) " WHERE ProductID IN (SELECT ProductID FROM ps4_productcategories WHERE (CategoryID = 11))" ["WA_Store_Cart_Items"]=> string(594) "5|WAECART|Animal Character Coloring Bookmarks Set One|WAECART|

Then, there is another error, I'm assuming that is connected to Authorize.net?

["WAAuthNet"]=> string(455) "3::1::270::Line item 1 is invalid.::::P::0::ov40md6fhoqrfvs60vn1::1 Animal Character Coloring Bookmarks Set One (5)::8.71::CC::auth_capture::::Joelle::Zeller::::338 S 71st Street::Springfield::OR::97478::US::(541) 726-9103::::sazeller@juno.com::Joelle::Zeller::::338 S 71st Street::Springfield::OR::97478::US::0.00::::4.71::FALSE::::B4EDB3803418CC9CEEA77F5DAD0F1A12::::::::::::::::::::::::::XXXX2319::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::(541) 726-9103::" ["WAVT_usersProfile_Errors"]=> string(0) "" ["UserID"]=> string(1)

Thank you for your help.

the error Line item 1 is invalid means that the product name or cart description contain bad characters.

double check that the name and cart description contain only alpha numeric value.

Still Not Working

I removed everything but alpha numeric value from name and cart description but still received the error below:

array(91) { ["WAVT_usersLogIn_Errors"]=> string(0) "" ["WAVT_ProductsResults_Errors"]=> string(0) "" ["WADbSearch1_Products_Cat"]=> int(11) ["WADbSearch1_Products_Results"]=> string(89) " WHERE ProductID IN (SELECT ProductID FROM ps4_productcategories WHERE (CategoryID = 11))" ["WA_Store_Cart_Items"]=> string(569) "5|WAECART|Animal Character Coloring Bookmarks Set One|WAECART|Whimsical fun and educational these bookmarks remind kids of the importance of building godly character traits Set of 12 Bookmarks
