Random Password

Thread began 6/02/2011 9:25 am by mikelally319342 | Last modified 9/09/2011 1:42 pm by danny405167 | 809 views | 2 replies |

Random Password

I've create a subscription file in Dreamweaver, not using WA. I've created a 'random number field' in my database, which I wish to populate when the subscriber submits. Via the bindings panel ->SecurityAssist, I create a Random Password which I wish to bind to the 'Hidden Field' I created which I called randomNumber. I've dynamically bound/binded my random password to the hidden field - (<input name="randomNumber" type="hidden" id="randomNumber" value="<?php echo WA_RandomPassword(6, false, true, true, "")?>" /></td>). However, it added <?php
require_once("../WA_SecurityAssist/WA_RandomPassword.php");?> at the top of the page in the source code. But it never created that file in my files, so it can't find the php to generate the random password. What should I do?

this is an issue a few users are reporting that we are trying to determine the cause of.

Some people have reported that the files gets created a directory down from the Dreamweaver root for some reason. You can download a copy of the files from this post:

and copy them into the WA_SecurityAssist folder of your site.
