Add new pages

I understand that there is a facility that will allow an end user to add pages to their site through the Power CMS control panel but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Can you tell me how to do this or where a tutorial for it might be?

When you add a new content area, there is an option to use it as a template, check that option.

Thanks Jason.

When I add content to a templated area in the control panel will it then prompt for a page name so it can create the new page?

pages created from a template are virtual pages.

first you create the template in the PowerCMS content list, go to the developer notes section to get the code to add to the page that you will use to display the template content.

now when you create a new page form the template, look at the developer notes for the individual pages, this will show a URL variable to use to access that pages content.

you will load the same physicle page, but change the querystring variable value to show different virtual page content.
