Error Generating Dynamic Menus

CSSMenuWriter is returning an error trying to generate ta dynamic menu

I’m using Dreamweaver CS3 undersVista and version 2.0.5 of menuwriter

The error (screenshot attached) suggests a problem with the database connection and JSONString.
The first time I used it on the site it seemed to work OK
test.php

The error occurs when I try to edit Content or Edit Menu

I can edit the Theme OK
I also get it when I try to create another new dynamic menu.

Deleting the wincahefile has not helped.

If I try editing the menu.php file in CSSMenuWriter, I get the same problem
Hope this enough info to help diagnose the problem.
I seem t rember having it some 18 months ago too.
Creating a static menu works a dream!
