Huge Shipping charge displayed in Cart

I can't figure out where this weird shipping charge comes from (2 lb product but shows shipping as $40.82! - see attached screen capture). This is on the initial Cart page, before Checkout (i.e. an address has not even been entered yet). I don't even want Shipping and Tax to be calculated at this point, much less displayed. These two things should only be displayed on the Confirm page.
How do I keep shipping out of the process until after Checkout?

If only it could be that the shipping is showing from another test item where it got stored in a session. Close the browser completely to destroy the session and test again

Shutting down the browser and restarting it does work to clear the session info, but that's a pain when I'm modifying things during development. Is there some code I can attach to a button temporarily to clear the cache? Or can I just add some code to the Cart "clear cart" button that will actually clear the cart.

use the Cookies Toolkit Clear Session value server behavior.

create a page called ClearSession.php

add the Clear session value server behavior to it, set the trigger to before page load, and set it to clear all.
