Trouble Installting PowerCMS2 Version 2.1.1

Hello,

I started the installation powercms/

I have attached 2 images of screenshots the first shows four green arrows.. next screen is completely blank - the URL address is database.php

This is a new install now not an upgrade. I uploaded the new js file lighter something from the downloads.

I was looking forward to an easy set-up just 1-2-3. Any light you could shed on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Caryn

Hi Caryn,

A blank page usually indicates an error in the php.

You could try adding error reporting to see if the page will show where the problem is.

Add the following to the very top of your 'database.php' file, and then run through the setup again - you should get an indication of what/where the problem is:

<?php
error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>
