Adjusting images

Adjusting images

I need to adjust a lot of the images in my galleries. However, it seems that once you adjust an image you have to re-upload the adjusted image and re-write the descriptions all over again. Am I missing something or is there an easier way to adjust the images in galleries and have the corrected images appear without re-doing the whole gallery? Please advise, thank you.

Assuming you have adjusted the admin/common/properties.php file and the nameofgallery/index.php files to reflect your new sizes, the quickest way to update the gallery is to select your gallery in admin, apply or change a watermark, then remove/change it back again.

This forces the images to be re-appraised (as it were) and updated without going through the uploads again.

I really did not resize the images, mainly just darkened them. However, I tried what you suggested without success. I have 23 galleries and I would to have to re-enter or actually re=do, from scratch, all images. There's gotta be a better way !!!!!!!!

Any image processing you need to do to get the images ready for the web needs to be done before you upload them to the gallery.

Image processing like this cannot be done on the images after the gallery is created.
