Creating a Log Out Page

Is it possible to create a log out page using SA?

Currently, I am using WebAssist's User Registration Administrative Back-end. The Admin back-end did not come with a users_LogOut file or option. I would like to create one that will destroy the Admin User Session.

Thank you.

The logout page is created using the Clear Session Variable behavior of Cookies Toolkit.

Go to the Server behaviors panel, click the plus button and select Clear Session Values. set the trigger to before page load, and set it to clear all variables.

Thank you, Jason.

However, I do not own the Cookies Toolkit.

Cookies toolkit comes with Security Assist.

if you own Security Assist, you also own Cookies Toolkit.

Oh. I am sorry about that. I found the Cookies Toolkit.

I followed your directions and when I tested the LogOut function, it did not clear out the session. Instead, it redirected me to the LogIn page. In addition, the show region on the login page (outlining that the session is still active) was showing.

To give you some background info...I made sure that the page access rules were correct. The page access is redirecting to the Admin/users_LogIn file in case their is an access error.

I have attached my logout file for your review. Please let me know if you need anything further from me.

make sure the code to clear the session is before the page access rule.

the page access rule is redirecting to the login page before the clear session code has the chance to run.

Can't find cookies toolkit

I created login/register information using security assist wizard.

My logout form doesn't work by default., (should it ?)

I now realise that I need to use a cookies toolkit server behavior to clear session values, but when I click on Server Behaviors and try to add it, I can't find it.

Do I need to install cookies toolkit as a separate extension ?

Ok, It's been a long day.

I think I answered my own question.
