site import not downloading

I'm on an imac. Dreamweaver CS3
In the site import wizard I enter the URL in Main we sit e URL. I select my folder for download and hit "next".
I don't change anything on step 2
I check Download template on step 3 and click finish.
Then nothing happens
On my WAImortlog.txt, it says Importing URL and the name of the site, but there is nothing there.
What can I do?

my friend's website

I tried a few different websites. My own, a friends. My friend wants me to teach them Dreamweaver and set them up with it. Their website is now done from online and they want to do it locally instead. So I need to download their website and redo everything in Dreamweaver.
Their site is www.spiritualdiscovery.org/

Hi Jason,

I'm having the same issue. I need to capture a number of sites from a past developer so that I can host the sites. I start site import, put in the URL etc. Click start and the Webassist Site Tools windown says processing, but nothing happens.

Any help with this is appreciated.

usually this is due to problem in the path to the import folder.

What is the full system path to the folder you are trying save the imported sites to?

How long are you waiting before determining that Dreamweaver has crashed?

Sometimes, site import can appear to have crashed, but it is actually just retrieving a rather large image, flash or other media file type.
