Error on loading UE

On calling UE am getting an error while executing canApplyServerBehaviour in CreateEmailMessage_WA.htm javascript error. On passing this I get

at line 416 of WA_Configuration.js getDocumentDom: Argumnet is invalid.

Have not had an issue before like this, have deleted and reinstalled by download from site.
Alos yetesday in having issues with Pear mail doenloaded that fix and reinstalled - have removed that file and reinstated the original.

What do I do please
