preview of insert/update changes

I have a php site. I used DataAssist Search Wizard to create my product Insert and Update pages. Once the product is inserted or updated, the change displays on the live page.
However, it would be nice to have a way to "preview" the page with the new change before it gets published to live.
Can this be done with DataAssist? If not, is this something that Power CMS would be capable of accomplishing?

This _could_ be done, but will require a fair bit if hand coding to accomplish and will not be supported.


you would need to store the for data in session variable and open a new window to display the preview.

I'm a novice with php. Would Power CMS be a better choice for me?
I would be interested in purchasing Power CMS if I could "easily" achieve the following: Power CMS allowed authorized users to interact with dynamic content (updating/inserting new products into the database) updating static content on the page, and previewing changes (for both static and dynamic content) before publishing to live.

No, power cms will not offer the preview option you are asking about.

the preview is not a supported feature of any of our products and would require unsupported hand coding, we cannot offer assistance with this.
