Slow or no load for map

Greetings: I've just deployed googlemaps pro for the first time. Several test settings using dynamic php with a 1000 record database. In some browsers, it takes several minutes (literally) to load and in Safari (mac) it crashes. Is this because of a setting or because I have so many records to load?

Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks

It is because of the number of records your database is returning.

for each record, it will connect to google to lookup the address, draw the map for that address, then pause for 2 seconds. The 2 second pause between address lookups is needed to prevent the Google server from terminating the request.

With the number of records you are retuning, this will take quite a bit of time to draw the entire map.

OK...thanks. Any way around it? Set to only show first 50 records with repeat records?

yes, you could create a repeat region to show only 50 records, then apply recordset paging to move through all of the addresses.
