Shiiping PS 4.5

Shiiping PS 4.5

I'm confused by the shipping rules in PowerStore 4.5.

I need to set the shipping rules to make a single charge per order (not per item).

My shipping rule is not weight sensitive but I seem to have to enter a weight and charge to make the checkout add the shipping cost, EG: <=50 - £2.95, and then add a weight to each product item as leaving it at zero doesn't work.

Can you also explain what the 'Base Rate' tab on the shipping rule form does?

yes, weight is a requirement for the shipping rules, this is to allow you to have items that are not applied to the shipping, such as down loadable goods.

The base rate is the base shipping rate that will be applied to the order, the other shipping charges defined will be added to the base rate
