Form Toolkit conflict with FMStudio Pro

Does anyone use Form Toolkit with FMStudio Pro? FMStudio Pro is a Dreamweaver extension that facilitates creation of webpages with Filemaker Pro server. It also creates PHP pages, but Form Toolkit refuses to work saying that I must use PHP.

If you disable the FMStudio Pro extension in the extensions manager, does it fix the problem?

When I create a document by choosing plain PHP, there is no problem. However, I need to use PHP for FMStudio Pro. If I choose this option, Form Toolkit doesn't allow me to add any of its objects.

As the lead developer of FMStudio Pro, I would like to address the confusion:

- FMStudio Pro is an advanced extension that introduces a new PHP Server Model, therefore it will not cooperate well with many other PHP extensions. This had to be done as it is not an SQL based database connection.
- Form Toolkit will work just fine next to FMStudio, just not inside of FMStudio pages

My Recommendation:
- Start with a plain PHP page, use Form Toolkit to do what you need
- Then by hand integrate the generate Form Toolkit code into your FMStudio Pro pages

The code will not be editable in Dreamweaver using the Form Toolkit tools, but it should work just fine - after all both extensions produce proper code that works in PHP. The integration of the code by hand into FMStudio pages should be easy enough to do.

Thank you mpetrov. In a way, it is strange that I should hear from you here. I don't seem to get replies when posting on fmwebschool forums for FMStudio...

If you read this, when will complete documentation for FMStudio Pro be complete?
