PowerStore 4.5: Server Diagnostic Check

I'm trying to install PowerStore 4.5, while runing the install I get this error message below. Server Diagnostic Check ERROR: All of the attributes below need to check out before you can proceed to the next step.


1. PHP 5.3.4
PHP 5.3.4 is installed.

2. GD Image Library
GD Image Library [bundled (2.0.34 compatible)] is installed.

3. cURL
cURL [7.21.2] is installed , however cURL was unable to post to the webassist server at www.webassist.com. You will not be able to complete the installation without activating through the webassist web site. .

4. SimpleXML
SimpleXML is installed.

5. Session Management
Session management works as expected.

6. File Permissions
Files and directories can be created.

This means that the cURL extension is not able to connect to the www.webassist.com server. There is a server configuration that is not allowing the script to connect to our server. you should contact your host to determine how the cURL connection to the www.webassist.com can be allowed.

I'm using WampServer on my local computer. Not remote server.

the issue is the same. your wamp server is not configured to disallow the connection to the webassist server.

you will need to determine why the connection cannot be made and modify the wamp server settings to allow the connection.
