Update file name if upload file present

Update file name if upload file present

I have an update page with two fields that can be updated. One is a file field that I have an Upload sb attached to and the other is a description field. I want to set it up so that the user can change one or both fields - and, if they don't change the file field, the current file value remains.

So far what's happening is that if I don't select a new file for upload, the current file field value is removed and an empty string is stored in the field. I have a hidden form field that holds the current value. How do I make sure that value is used if there is no filename in the upload field?

Thanks - Joe

make sure the hidden form element is getting the value for the file name from the recordset, then bind the hidden form field to the Default File name setting in the upload file server behavior.
