Subscript out of range: 'i' \../

Hello,
I have added a data assist insert to a page all works fine. but when the field is left blank and I click the insert/submit button I get the following error.

If any one knows what I have done wrong please let me know cheers. I have attached the page

you should replace the clientinin text box with a spry text box of the same name to prevent the form from being submitted if it is left blank.

I thought I would use validation extension as i not

I thought I would use validation extension as i not want blank fields. Why do I get this error even if i apply the validation extension.

it is now working

hello got it working, i had rebuild this specific page many times from scratch and it server validation never worked but this time it has.
