Previe not updating. Downgrade to 1.0.1 fixes it

Preview not updating. Downgrade to 1.0.1 fixes it

When I change colours the preview window looks like it is refreshing (it blanks out, says "generating preview" and then display, but the colour changes do not show.

I downgraded to Theme-it 1.0.1 and that works OK. But I would rather be running the latest version.

Anyone else experience this?

Mark.

BTW, with well deployed CSS, the Tweak feature is awesome - but ONLY when the preview is working properly!!

(Windows 7 / Dreamweaver CS5, fresh install)

after installing version 1.0.2, Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

you may also need to delete the preview cache.

see the FAQ section of the theme-it support page:
theme-it/

the last FAQ walks through clearing the preview cache.

Didn't work first time.

This is what I did:

1. Uninstalled 1.0.1

2. Deleted the cache and other files

3. Installed 1.0.2 (did not fix the problem)

4. Uninstalled 1.0.2

5. Installed 1.0.1 (problem went away)

6. Installed 1.0.2 (without removing 1.0.1)

7. Deleted the cache and other files

Now 1.0.2 works :-)

Strange and long winded. But at least it works.

For reference, in case it helps Webassist fix this problem: When the problem existed and I changed a colour the preview refreshed but the colours did not change. If I then clicked the preview to preview in a browser the colours had not changed in the browser either.
