Trouble with templates

i didnt know where to ask so i thought the product i was using would be a start, I create a set of page without template and your products work fine, as soon as i create whose same pages (from scratch) with templates that where the fun and games begin.

lets take the creatation of pages using a template, as soon as they are created the first i noticed, is all the server behavours relating to show regions are all bunched up at the top and bottom of the file and not in the places they should be to make relavence to the document, so i have to delete them and set them manually.

Next every time I try to edit or insert another element like datepicker or edit the recordset, i keep getting the attached error this attacks the results page for the most part, i have scoured adobe and webassist website to find out what could be the problem adjusted editable regions as per instructionals so i finally come to youse.

Please advise and can attached any relevant docs you require

what all 125 files

i have this problem with data assist, form builder (datepicker) and the list goes on, in some cases this involves 125 files that are created in the course of building a website.

do i have to do this with all the files, or do i have to make a lot of noise at ADOBE to fix this issue, i cant see this as being the time saving solution i invested in.

Another alternative would be to convert your template to a theme using the PHP Framework extension:

I'm merely suggesting an alternative to editing all of the pages based on the template.

the reality is that this is an issue that has plagued templates for quite some time, whether or not WebAssist extensions are used.

do a Google search on the error message, and you will find people experiencing the issue as far back as Dreamweaver Ultra Dev.

The only solution I have found for the the problem is the one to temporarily detach the page from the template.

If this does not work for you, then there is an alternative of using the Framework Builder to convert the template to a theme.

you can choose which solution to use.

How does using Framework help? I use Framework and my template is converted to a theme and yet I still get the same error ...

Bought three extensions in the last 24 hours ... none of which work. WTF?
