Using Power Store on a testing domain

I have seen in the FAQ that Power Store can be installed on a testing domain for configuration and customization of the store, but I can't find any documentation as to how this is done. I am interested in working with Power Store, but want to play with it locally before going live. Could you point me towards some documentation that can help me?
Thanks,
~Giovonnae

to test power store locally, you will need to first install a local testing server.

the learning resources page:
resources.php

has details on installing a local testing server.

Once the local testing server is installed, installing power store to the local testing server is the same as installing it to a remote server. copy the Power Store files to the local testing server directory, open the web browser and browse to the poser store site to start the installation wizard.
