Update relationship database records

I'm at a loss.

I'm trying to show the colours that have been saved with a record from the relationship insert page in the attached update page.

On this update page I have added the same repeat function for my colours but have no clue how to place a check in the colours already selected and then to update the table if new choices are made.

Do i need a second update behaviour, do i need to create a SQL join please help this function is driving me mad.

Are there any examples or documents on how to achieve this in DataAssist? In ADDT this function is automated.

there's 2 problems i see with this page:

1) Lines 158 - 199 are duplicate code chunks of the WA DataAssist Pre-Select Relational Table code that are used to preselect the checkboxes, there should only be one.


2) In the manage relation table behavior, you have set the master key to use the WADA_Insert_aaproducts session variable, that session is only available on the insert page, not the update page.

on the update page, you need to set the master key to use the
same WADAUpdateRecordID form element that is used for the update record behavior.

Edit due to solution found.

I just figured out theat when adding the relationship extension I must not have any element within the page selected. If there is the relationship wizard failes to generate the correct code. Not sure if you have experieced this before but. After several hours of testing i finally found why!
