Adding Images?

Adding Images?

Hello:
I am putting together my first Data Base driven site using Data Assist. Everything is going well and I have most of the elements in place to create my On Line Catalog. However, I am getting hung up on how to add photos to the Results Page and Details Page. I have created the MSQL data base from the pre-designed WA setup. I have 2 fields in the Products Table called Product Thumb and Product Image. I'm just not sure how to add the images into the data base. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if there is documentation I am missing, it would be helpful.

Thanks:
Rich

you need to use the File Manipulation -> Upload File behavior that included as Part of either Universal Email or CSS Form builder to upload the files to the server.

see the "Applying File Upload to DataAssist Insert and Update pages" tutorial on the Universal Email support page:

Thanks:
I don't own the Universal Email but intend to purchase it. On a related note, do my thumbnail and product images need to be re sized in photo shop individually or can I set parameters within the image display to automatically size one photo for both pages.

you can use the File Upload functions to re-size the images for you.

Is there another way to upload the images if I do not own Universal Email?

you would either need to create the PHP code to perform the upload by hand, a quick Google search and I found this basic example:
fileupload.php

or you would need to use an extension form another company.
