Sub menu problem

I created a menu and a second level menu. I also added a second sub level menu, which refuses to work after I loaded it up to our website. I works fine in the preview browser but not in the real world - any suggestions?

The first two menus work ok it's the Specialty Objectives that don't display the second sub menus

I'm not able to reproduce the problem. I am testing in Fire Fox and IE 8 and the sub menu for specialty objectives is showing correctly.

It's the second sub menu (there should be three) which comes out from Specialty Objectives. If you mouse over say Plastic Surgery another two choices should come out - they don't in my browsers Firefox and IE7

there isnt any code in the source for a second submenu:

<li class="parent"><a href="specialty_objectives.html">Specialty Objectives</a>
<ul class="level-1">
<li><a href="cardiothoracic.html">Cardiothoracic</a></li>
<li><a href="colorectal_disease.html">Colorectal</a></li>
<li><a href="general.html">General Surgery</a></li>
<li><a href="neurosurgery.html">Neurosurgery</a></li>

<li><a href="orthopaedics.html">Orthopedics</a></li>
<li><a href="otolaryngology.html">Otolaryngology</a></li>
<li><a href="pediatrics.html">Pediatrics</a></li>
<li><a href="plastics.html">Plastic Surgery</a></li>
<li><a href="trauma.html">Trauma</a></li>
<li><a href="urology.html">Urology</a></li>

<li><a href="vascular.html">Vascular Surgery</a></li>
</ul>
</li>

a second submenu would be in a ul with the class set to level-2

it would seem to me that the version of the page on your local system that shows the second submenu is a newer version of the page than the one on the server. re upload the page to the server.

I don't get it. I see the files for ul level1 and 2 in the CSS properties.
I load them up - nothing
Look at the source code - nothing
Cleared out the browser cache - nothing
reload everything - nothing

getting very frustrating

Dreamweaver can sometimes get flakey on uploading files to the server.

delete the index.html from the server, then reupload it from Dreamweaver.

Well THAT cured it, why is Dreamweaver so 'flaky' about loading stuff up? just one of those
'bugs' we have to deal with I suppose.

thanks for the help

glad to hear it is working now.

I trust Dreamweavers ftp program to properly upload files as far as I can throw it. I dont really have an answer for why it is flakey.
