check for delivery failure

i have an email sending to around 80 members, using a recordset as the source.

One person, (so far) has claimed they are not getting the email, though they receive 'standard' emails from this address.

I have checked the email address, which is correct, and I checked it appears in the recordset, which it does.

Is there an easy way to check that the email has

1. been sent
2. not been rejected ?

you can configure the logging settings in universal email to log failure or success in the email log database.

to access the logging settings, click on the icon of the envelope with the green checkbox and red cirlcle on it.

the logging options will record in the database whether the email was successfully sent to the SMTP server for each address or not.

If it is being sent to the smtp server, you will need to contact the host to determine why the smtp server is not relaying the email to that user.

Hi Jason.

Thanks for that, I got it working.

Just one question.

When I first tried this, I got errors.

wa_appbuilder_php.php was being called twice, once from dataasssist

<?php require_once("../WA_DataAssist/WA_AppBuilder_PHP.php"); ?>

then later from mailformatting_php.php

require_once("../database_management/wa_appbuilder_php.php");

i edited the file and got it working, but thought you should know in case its a bug
