ASP VB using existing connection?

Hello, I've just bought Pro Maps and I'm not sure I can't use an existing connection to our SQL db. I explain better...I've got a lot of asp pages based on a dw template who are just connected to the main db. I'd like to use recordset created using that connection inside Pro Maps. Is that possible or I've to define a new connection (to the same db) using Pro Maps / Dreamweaver tool?
Thanks in advance!!!
