create new page

I want to create a new page utilizing dreamweaver based on my themed template. I assume that I copy the template from my current theme and paste it into my Templates folder one level below the root.

I created segalmediaproductions.com/testPage2.php

and I get the error
Fatal error: Class 'WA_Include' not found in /home/content/l/i/s/lisaellen/html/webassist/themes/segalmedia3/plugins/plugins.php on line 5

Thanks,

Lisa

No, to create a new page that will use the themed template, you just need t go to File -> New. Select Page For Template then select the themed_content template.

any way to tie this page into the admin

Jason,
Thanks, worked great. Is there a way to have my new pages be added to the admin section or would I need to add content to these pages via dreamweaver?

Thanks
Lisa

you would need to add the content to these pages via Dreamweaver.

where does ps house custom pages

I want to do some exploring of how pages are constructed. Where does ps4 put pages that I create in the admin section? for example:
page.php?Custom%20Pages=5

Thanks,

Lisa

pages that are created based on the template in this way, are not physical pages.

They are virtual pages that are stored in the content management system

there is one physical page, and the different page content is called based in the querysting variable that is passed. for example:
Custom Pages=5

calls the content for one page

Custom Pages=4

calls the content for a different page.

in both cases, the physical page:
page.php

is loaded to the browser, but the querystring tells it to load different content into the page.
