installation problems with security error

Hello,

I use the same powerCMS code to install each website and each time I get different error.
I have followed the thread below on SecurityAssist problems but I was unable to find a solution.

index.php

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /mnt/Target01/332078/550185/www.physiciansweightlosshouston.com/web/content/powerCMS/Connections/localhost.php:12) in /mnt/Target01/332078/550185/www.physiciansweightlosshouston.com/web/content/powerCMS/WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php on line 67

I was trying to access the admin page to login to insert content.

I have added two attachments for review for the WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php
& the WA_SecurityAssist/HelperGroupsRulesPHP.php

the headers already sent error occurs if there is output between php tags.

the error is being reported at line 12 of the Connections/localhost.php

output started at /mnt/Target01/332078/550185/www.physiciansweightlosshouston.com/web/content/powerCMS/Connections/localhost.php:12

make sure that there are no blan lines in this file after the closing php tag ?>

localhost error message

Jason,

I do not understand your post:

this is the localhost.php file:

<?php
# FileName="Connection_php_mysql.htm"
# Type="MYSQL"
# HTTP="true"
$hostname_localhost = "mysql5-10.wc1";
$database_localhost = "550185_pwlchouston";
$username_localhost = "550185_pwlch";
$password_localhost = "5P5h0y1s8i5c";
$localhost = mysql_pconnect($hostname_localhost, $username_localhost, $password_localhost) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR);
?>

there are not 12 lines only 10.

solved one problem

Hello,

I am not able to login to the admin panel : admin/

when I go to "insert content"

I get a broken page: contents_insert.php

Its the 404 error page without a style sheet.

What can I do to improve so it will proceed to insert information.

Thank you,
caryn

this is a case sensitivity issue.

in the PowerGallery database, double check the remote root setting.

Make sure it is /powerCMS/ with aa lower case p instead of /PowerCMS/

case sensitive link is WA code

Yes I get the problem with case sensitive issue. Except this is not my part to code it is built in to the code I downloaded from webassist.

If you go to the log in screen > log in > then click on INSERT NEW CONTENT > the page that renders is ::
contents_insert.php

So just to make sure I took the above link and changed the PowerCMS to powerCMS and I get the same error.

So I am thinking it is something else and maybe you could really help me this time. Once again its Friday afternoon and I would liket to finish this project so I can start on another one.

Thank you,
Caryn Maus

did you look in the wa_settings table of the power gallery database?

in the wa_settings table of the power gallery database, what is the remote root setting?

make sure it is /powerCMS/ and not /PowerCMS/

Jason,

I am setting up a powerCMS not a powerGallery. I did not see any file that references WA table settings.

Please advise.

sorry, i meant to type Power CMS, not Power Gallery.

you will need to access the database directly using your host control panel, they should have a program like PHPMyAdmin that you can use to access the MySQL Database.

in the mysql database for PowerCMS there is a table named wa_settings, you need to make sure the PCMS Remote Root setting is /powerCMS/ and not /PowerCMS/

myPHP admin

OK, I guess we are going to play forum tag until I get it. I guess I will cancel my appointment with my client to teach her how to do this at 9am.

I hope I don't get fired.

Attached is a copy of a screen shot of myPHPadmin > there are only two table content and contenthistory.

Not sure what I am supposed to changed. I am not a programmer that's why I use scripts and extensions to be easy and offer clients items they can work without paying exorbitant rates to a programmer.

Thank you,
Caryn
