upload image tab missing

I have moved from irite to html3 and I noticed that even though i have the button "allow file upload" checked that my image editor button from the tool bar does not have an upload image tab. I have all of the other image functions but no upload image tab.
i show no errors on the page either.

I have the exact same issue.

Is this on a page where you had iRite before?

If so, you need to remove the iRite instance, then add a new HTML Editor 3 instance using the same name. It sounds like there may be remnants of the iRite code on the page conflicting with HTML editor.

Also, make sure to upload the webassist/htmleditor folder.

Not in my case.

The Image properties tab in HTMLEditor 3 will not have an upload tab.

the upload option is available on the file manager window that opens when you click the Browse Server button.

in the webassist/kfm/index.php file, look for this line:

php:
<script type="text/javascript"  src="j/all.php/can-minify"></script>

and change it to:

php:
<script type="text/javascript"  src="j/all.php"></script>

That worked, but I don't see the image rotate feature referred to and sizing feature is underwhelming. It would be nice if it actually calculated and showed the initial dimensions so that you can scale it properly.

Also, here is the code that it inserted.

<img alt="&quot;bird&quot;" src="&quot;resources/blue-cockatiel.gif&quot;" /></p>

What's with the &quot;

how do I keep it from doing this?

This is the problem

$CKEditor_initialValue = "".(str_replace('"', '&quot;', $row_WADAcontents['content'])) ."";

It did not work in HTML Editor 2 and it does not work in 3.

When can we expect a version that does not require hand editing the auto generated and included code?

this is code generated by data assist.

the instructions for adding HTML Editor to a data assist page have always been to re set the initial value of the HTMLEditor instance to the recordset column to remove the formatting.

no hand editing is needed. just click the lightning bolt next to initial value and reselect the recordset column.
