Email Order Form

I used the no gateway option and finish all the pages, but how do I get the information in the order form to be sent to a specific email address so I can do a follow up call with the order?

If you have Universal Email or CSS Form Builder installed while running the Checkout wizard, a Universal Email behavior will be added to the confirm page to send the email receipt to the customer.

You can double click the Universal Email behavior in the server behaviors list of the confirm page to edit it and add the store owners email to the to list, or the CC list to have a copy of the receipt sent to them.

So you can't send a notification to the merchant of what the customer bought without getting the universal email? Is there any way to mail a notification of the contents of the purchase to the merchant without getting the universal email, using the ecart extension?

Okay, I have downloaded and installed Universal Email. There is no "Return Path" input area for my own email. What's wrong?

This is all of the code that is being used. The problem with this is that the receipt is not being sent to my email. If I can get all the information to be sent to an email account for processing, I would be done with it. Thank you in advance!

on the confirm page, double click the universal email server behavior to edit it.

Click on the To button to edit the To properties and add your email address.

There is only Universal Email(2) and Universal Email(3) as options to double click on, is that a problem? I have double clicked on both and added my email, and they still won't show up.

you should only have one universal email behavior on the page, not 2.

would delete the checkout pages you have, and recreate them, after they have been created, edit the universal email behavior and add you email address to the to section.

I tried redoing the confirmation page and it still hasn't come through. I will attach the codes on the confirm.php page. Thank you!

make sure that you have specified the correct smtp server.

If you have the correct smtp server specified, contact the host to have them lookinto the smtp server error logs to see why the email is not being relayed.
