Datassist Sort with 2 tables in recordset

I created a search and results page using the wizard. On the results page I want to show information from 2 tables not just the one that is used in the wizard. I amended the recordset to include a LEFT JOIN to the other table but now the search doesn't work. It says there are no records. If I change the recordset back so that there is only one table it works again.

your SQL statement must be valid if you are not getting any errors.

have you tried pasting the sql in phpmyadmin ?

Also try using different join types. Different join types have different rules for data matching to return values.

see this page for details:
Join_%28SQL%29
