IE drop down content

Hello all, first let me state up front - I'm very new to web design/coding. So please be patient. I ran site sculptor and came up with a design then modified for my site. I'm having the IE 6/7 drop content problem. I searched the forum, found some suggestions, however I can't find the trouble area on my site. I tried deleting elements one item at a time, but nothing fixes. It looks great in FF and Chrome.

This site is on my laptop/localhost so I not sure how to post a link. I zipped up the site to post here but the 1.1 MB is to large for this forum. What should I do so you all can see my code?

Thank you, Cindy

OK, I just realized you don't need my entire site so here is a zip file with just the necessary files.

I'm learning...
Thanks, Cindy

you have the code for the verticle navigation in the same div as the top navigation, it should be in the leftColumn1 div, but this div is empty

<!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="leftColumn1" -->
<div id="leftColumn1">
</div><!--end leftColumn1-->

Thanks for the help. I moved the div like you suggested and now the verNavigation menu is not where it should be. I tried changing the settings but it just made the whole page worse. I'm confused. Also, the template created from Site Sculptor put the topNavigation (renamed verNavigation) before leftcolumn1. I just left it there. I think something else is going on that I'm not understanding. Did you try your suggestion on my actual template that I uploaded? Did it work for you under IE6/7 and FF?

Thanks Cindy

Jason,
I just created a site with SiteSculptor using Corporate > Layer. The index page looks fine but if you go to any other pages, they are pretty messed up in IE6. (I don't have IE7 here to check it out.) Also, look below, the topNavigation is not inside the leftColumn1 div.

<div id="outerWrapper">
<div id="header"><img alt="Logo" src="sitesculptor_assets/home/images/logo.png" /></div>
<div id="topNavigation"><?php require_once("CSSMenuWriter/cssmw_home/menu.php"); ?></div>
<div id="contentWrapper">
<div id="leftColumn1">
<!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="sidebar" --><strong>leftColumn1 Title </strong>
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit. <a href="#">More...</a></p>
<hr size="1" />
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet. <a href="#">More...</a></p><!-- TemplateEndEditable -->
</div>
<div id="content">
<!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="content" -->

The top navigation should not be inside the left column div.

Do you have a link where i can see the issue to troubleshoot what is wrong?

I'm not 100% sure what you are trying to do with this layout, are you trying to place the vertical navigation along the left side?

if that is the case, the problem is that you are not placing the vertical navigation in the Left column div.

You are creating a new div for the vertical navigation that is not a part of the main content div, that is placing a new div just under the main navigation div that has the same width as the main navigation div.

I dont believe you need to add a new div for the vertical navigation, you just need to place it within the the left column div that is already there.
