Repeating Tables Not Working

Repeating Tables is Not Working at all. It will not insert valid working code, it will erase selection, it will not take the odd/even selection into account, etc...
The loop finally contains an empty cell...

Please, have a look at this video record to see by yourself :

this is not a bug, it is as designed.

in the alternative content, you do not need to add the tr tag or additional cells.

the code added to the page, will only be for one data cell, at run time, the code will generate the additional cells up to the number of cells you specify.

the odd and even styles are applied to the odd and even rows.

the use of the repeating table is to create a data grid of x number of column before a new row is created,

so where you are setting it to 2 columns, the run time results will look like:
| x | x | <- odd
| x | x | <- even
| x | x | <- even
| x | x | <- odd
| x | x | <- even
| x | x | <- odd
| x | x | <- even

once the repeating table is applied to the page, you will need to add the data to the data cell that should be displayed.
