send email settings do not stay?

ok i have added my own email address in the TO box and i have 'binded' the FROM box to the email address in 'current working form'... then i save and close the form builder .. when i click on the tab in drewamweaver and re-open the form wizard again and go look at these settings ....they are blank where i just had filled them??

also, i am getting the form to display ok in my testing server ...but i cant get the email functionality of it to work... yet?

thanks again

Are you editing the form or creating a new one?

to edit the form, click the blue bounding box that surrounds the form in design view, then click the edit button in the property inspector.

still trying to make this work

current error is:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare WAUE_AddAttachment() (previously declared in C:\xampp\htdocs\doyletech-atrium\webassist\email\mail_php.php:2) in C:\xampp\htdocs\doyletech-atrium\webassist\email\PEAR_Mail_using_SMTP_php.php on line 23

i think i MAY have corrected some of my previous problems trying to get my email server gong..

i am using XAMPP testing server which comes with MercuryMail
i modifed the php.ini file in the XAMPP folder to update the SMTP name to my ISP server name and i changed the port number to the one that the ISP gave me. and changed the from address to my real email address.... so with these changes to the php.ini file i think my local email server should work once i get the form to work again?.... cheers

aand...

i notice in other posts when they get this message that it could be leftover code ... based on what u have said to them..... so i created a brand new PHP page in dreeamweaver CS5 and created a brand new form from scratch...and this time i dont get this message... but email functionality still not working... the process bar comes up and returns the page but no email is sent.....

got it

ok have the form working i think.... lots of different issues were going on... one other thing that would be nice to tweak would be the "Contact me" .. like to change the font and the colour .. did not see that option in the CSS file area... cheers

you can change the font and color in the CSS Form Builder wizard.

next to the form design selection, click the edit button to access the design editor interface. This will allow you to customize the design of all aspects of the form including the font and the color.
