Hosting password change question

If I change a hosting log in and password will it have any effect on my currently working PowerCMS? I need to change the hosting password since it has been loss. The by changing the hosting password of my server will any of the code in PowerCMS be corrupted or is there certian files that need to be adjusted to match the new password?

changing the hosting password should not effect power cms.

The only password that would effect power cms is the MySQL password.
