Static cart question

Static cart question

I am building a retail site (static cart) that sells shoes. Do I need to create a new object for each item, or do I just edit the details (item#, color, style, etc.) and work with one object. I am a newbie, and am having a bit of a hard time clearly understanding the instructions in the Getting Started Guide and the E Cart Help pdf's that came with the software. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

You would work with one cart object. You would add columns to the cart to store color, style, etc. associated with the particular type of products you are selling and how you classify them.
